Empanadillas recipe with ham and egg bechamel

Ingredients (4 people):

  • 16 pie wafers
  • 2-3 thick slices of ham
  • 1 scallion
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 l. milk
  • 2 eggs
  • Water
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • Nutmeg
  • Parsley

Preparation of the Empanadillas recipe with ham and egg bechamel:

To do it bechamel, chop the scallion and put it in a casserole dish with a splash of oil. Season Add the flour. Cook the flour with the help of a rod and mix. Pour the milk little by little, chop the ham, grate the nutmeg with the help of a grater.

Put the egg to cook in a pan with plenty of water for about 10 minutes. Peel and chop the egg and add to the bechamel. Mix everything well until it thickens for about 15 minutes. Place in a bowl, let cool and cool in the fridge a few minutes. Reservation.

To make the baked dumplings, put the béchamel on 8 wafers of empanadillas and close them with the help of a fork. Place the empanadillas on the baking sheet. Beat an egg and spread the empanadillas with it. Above add sesame seeds and Bake at 200º C for about 10-12 minutes.

To make the fried dumplings, put the béchamel on the remaining 8 pie wafers and close with the help of a fork. Fry them in a pan with plenty of oil. Drain on paper towels.

To place, place two baking dumplings and two fries. Garnish with parsley and serve.
